Unlocking A Bright Future in Key Club

Unlocking A Bright Future in Key Club

We met for our first general meeting on September 4th, the first Tuesday of the month. Meetings were before and after school, for the first time ever.

Caden Young, the President of the Denton High School Key Club, began the first meeting with not only efficiency but also ambition. After diving into the pledges and explaining Key Club and its values, he then talked about new changes to the club for the coming school year.

These included new things such as rewards for those who participate, a change in the requirements to get a graduation cord, and the implementation of a Member of the Month program to encourage active involvement. He concluded with a description of the events that are to occur in September such as the popular 9/11 project and several other volunteer opportunities that members can take part in.
